Follow creators and use My Feed

This guide is for signed-in viewers who want new releases to come to them. It covers following a creator from their profile, the three tabs of My Feed (Following, Watchlist, History), and the email switches under Notifications that decide what reaches your inbox. You end with a creator followed, a feed that fills as they publish, and notifications set the way you want them. The screenshots follow Mara Quinn following QA Calibration One (@fcqa_films).

Before you start

Following needs an account. Signed out, Follow opens the sign-in prompt titled "Sign in to follow this creator" and finishes the follow once you are in. If you have no account yet, see Create your account and sign in.

Step 1 — Open a creator's profile

Every creator has a public page at their @handle. Reach it by clicking the creator's name in the creator row under a film's player. The profile opens with the banner, avatar, display name, @handle, and "Creating since" date, then the bio (click Read more for the full text), the AI tools they use as chips, and their links. The engagement row underneath holds Follow and the follower count, then for verified creators Tip and Support, then a share icon. Further down sit the public Supporters list, their Recent comments, a Featured carousel, and the Work grid with filter pills (All, Films, Series, Shorts, Animation, Experimental) and a sort of Newest, Most Viewed, or Top Tipped.

The Follow button sits in the engagement row under the bio, next to the follower count and the Tip and Support buttons.

Step 2 — Click Follow

Click Follow. The button flips to Following, drawn in outline style, and the follower count goes up by one. Click Following to unfollow; the count drops back.

You do not have to visit the profile for this. The same button sits in the creator row on every watch page, and content cards on Home, Browse, and My Feed carry a Follow creator quick action next to their like and watchlist icons. A series page has its own Follow Series button, which follows that series alone.

After the click the button reads Following in outline style and the count has moved from 1 follower to 2 followers.

Step 3 — Open My Feed

Click My Feed in the top nav. The page opens on the Following tab. When you have unfinished films, a Continue watching ribbon shows above the tabs; each card there has a progress bar and a Resume button.

The Following feed lists the newest published films from every creator and series you follow, with Load more at the bottom. A filter strip above the list starts with All Creators and adds one chip per followed creator; a small dot on a chip means that creator published something since your last visit. Click a chip to see only that creator, and All Creators to return to everyone. Follow nobody yet and the tab reads "Your Following feed is empty" with a Discover creators link to Browse.

Step 4 — Check the Watchlist tab

The Watchlist tab holds everything you saved with Add to watchlist on a watch page or a card. Sort offers Date added, Alphabetical, and Duration. Each card keeps its quick actions and a remove control; removing shows a "Removed from watchlist" toast and needs no confirmation. A whole series saved from an episode's watchlist prompt appears as one card with a Series badge. An empty watchlist reads "Nothing saved yet" and offers Browse the catalog.

The Watchlist tab with its three sort options, Date added, Alphabetical and Duration, and the one film saved during the watch guide.

Step 5 — Review your History

The History tab lists every film you have played, sorted Newest first or Oldest first. Each card carries a progress bar; a finished film shows Watched, an unfinished one shows the percentage watched. To take a film out, click its remove control. A dialog asks "Remove from history?" and warns that this cannot be undone; for an unfinished film the saved position goes too, so it also leaves Continue watching. Click Remove to confirm or Cancel to keep it. History is private: no other user, and no creator, can see it.

The History tab sorted Newest first, with a progress bar under the film's thumbnail.

Step 6 — Choose which emails you get

Open your account menu (your avatar at the top right), click Account, then Notifications in the left rail. The Email notifications card lists the viewer categories, each with a switch:

RowYou get an email
New uploads from followed creatorsWhen a creator you follow publishes a new film.
New episodes from followed seriesWhen a series you follow adds a new episode.
Reply notificationsWhen someone replies to your comment.
Weekly digestA weekly roundup of new films from creators you follow.

Flip a switch and it saves at once; if the save fails, the switch snaps back and a notice asks you to try again. Mara's account is new, and all four switches are off in the recording: nothing lands in your inbox until you turn one on.

The second card, headed "Always sent" with "transactional & safety" after it and marked with an Always sent badge on every row, covers receipts for tips and support, verification decisions, payouts, and moderation outcomes. Those cannot be turned off because they keep your account and money safe. In-app notifications are separate and always on: the bell in the top nav (Notifications) opens the panel, and Mark all read clears the unread markers.

Good to know

  • Following is free and creates no obligation. Tipping and monthly support are separate; see Tip a creator or support them monthly.
  • The feed only shows published films that have finished processing. Drafts, scheduled releases, and films a moderator took down never appear.
  • The active tab lives in the address bar (/my-feed?tab=watchlist, /my-feed?tab=history), so you can bookmark a view.
  • Your watch position syncs across devices. Continue watching on My Feed and on Home read the same saved position.
  • Removing a film from History does not remove your like, comments, or watchlist entry; it only clears the viewing record and any saved position.
  • Every notification email carries an unsubscribe link. Using it switches off that category and points you to Manage your email preferences for the rest.
  • Creators see a second card, Creator email notifications, for comments on their work, new followers, milestones, and staff features. See Become a creator and get verified.
